Soda ash light is a white, tasteless, easily dissolved in water powder with a slightly alkaline flavor. It is a compound having the chemical formula Na2CO3. It is composed using the Solvay techniques from limestone (calcium carbonate) and salt (sodium chloride). Furthermore, some minerals including trona and nahcolite occur in soda ash light.
